Hows the weather? : that conventional turbos make?? yes, they will make a more distinct sound...more whine-ish. but slightly. noticable to some folks with trained ears. : actually, why do they make that sound? and why are some turbos louder-ALOT LOUDER-- than others?? that can usually be attributed to air flow. You know that rushing sound air makes on jet airplanes and their engines? It's all about air movement and currents. The more efficient a turbo, the more air it will move. The more air it will move, the louder and more distinct the exhaust and intake notes will be. Hope this helps buddy!
